Last month I had a giveaway for a Barefoot Wine Summer Essentials Pack (you can view the company’s history here) and was recently able to try a few different wines in their lineup. I am a wine lover and love trying out new kinds. I usually stick to red wines but every once in a while a white wine or even a champagne come along that I absolutely love. That is exactly what happened with the Barefoot wines.
The Barefoot Zinfandel is one of the best of this type that I have had. It’s slight, cherry flavor really stands out for me (cherries are my favorite fruit) and the fruit scent really kicks up your taste buds. I had this bottle and another brand at a small gathering I had and hands down the Barefoot Zinfandel was the BEST!
Now I was saving the Barefoot Bubbly Brut Cuvée for a special occasion and luckily one popped up right away, as I was really wanting to give this one a taste. My husband opened it up and he said the first thing that he noticed was the scent of apples. This fruity tasting Brut was by far one of the best we have had, and will definitely be replacing our regular bubbly we use for special occasions. This is a great bubbly for desserts and even for making mimosas.
My overall experience with Barefoot Wine & Bubbly has been a great one. Not only was I able to find new wines to love but it was fun having somewhat of a “taste test” with a few different brands and having Barefoot Wines pop up as the favorite among my guests. I recommend this company and their wines to everyone! I know that I will be grabbing a few new types from this line the next time I am at the store, I am anxious to try out their Pinot Grigio and Merlot.
